Dir Colleges Kashmir visits GDC Anantnag

Srinagar, Apr 28: The Director Colleges, Prof. (Dr.) Sheikh Aijaz Bashir, visited Government Degree College Anantnag on Tuesday as part of the ongoing the Strategic College Academic Leadership Enhancement (SCALE) initiative.

 

During the visit, the Director interacted with students and the faculty. He emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing teaching-learning outcomes, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability in higher education institutions.

 

The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Mushtaq Ahmad Malik briefed the Director about the recent academic initiatives, infrastructural developments, and student-centric activities undertaken by the institution. Discussions were also held on improving research output, integrating technology in pedagogy, and aligning institutional practices with evolving educational standards.

 

The Director appreciated the efforts of the college in maintaining academic standards and encouraged the faculty to continue working towards excellence in teaching and research. He highlighted the significance of initiatives like SCALE in transforming higher education through structured leadership and strategic planning.
